Quick Bio
I have been working at this school for about 5 years now. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I do not know where I would be without JJMS. This is including the opportunity, friendliness, and guidance that I have been blessed with by stepping foot on this campus for the first time. The first year I was here, I started as an After School Tutor which was an amazing experience. The year after I became a paraprofessional, after getting my bachelors in creative writing, where I flourished and was able to show my dedication to education. Three years ago, I was chosen to follow the intern program for Special Education with the support of James Jordan Middle School. My career path had started to form and I do not regret going down this route one bit. I recently received my Special Education credential and I am currently a 6h grade and 8th grade RSP Teacher.
Some quotes that I think my students should be aware of are:
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
- Winston Churchill
"Some men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were, and ask why not."
-Robert Kennedy
"Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding."
-Mahatma Gandhi
